Goodbye Infinix Mobile Philippines!

The smartphone business unit of Infinix Mobile will finally come to an end, says the outgoing Brand Manager Zaks Yu.

This news was posted by Yu himself at the Infinix Mobile Philippines Facebook group Sunday, August 5, 2018.

Yu also said that their last smartphone to offer to the Philippine market is the Infinix Note 5, which is available in Lazada.

In his post, Yu said the company has lost a lot of money in the smartphone business. Their commission is too low.

This development also changes the direction of Yu’s position in the company. Moving forward, he will be the South East Asian Sales Manager for Smart Accessories.

Warranty support to continue

For those who bought their Infinix smartphones, warranty services will not stop according to Yu. Plus the Facebook group with almost 20,000 members will not be deleted. It will remain as a contact point to the brand.

Infinix Mobile Accessories and other items

While the smartphone business unit ends its operations in the Philippines, the mobile accessories will still be made available.

You can still expect powerbanks, smart watches, electric toothbrush and other items.

Infinix Mobile started its sales in the Philippines in 2016.
