Ask me what sexy smartphone is and I will tell you that it is the HTC Butterly, hands down. HTC Philippines has finally launched their first full-HD 1080P display powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 Pro HTC Butterfly.
The 5-inch smartphone by HTC has been in store shelves already for the past few weeks now. We asked the reps about the delay of the launch, they said they want to make sure that they have enough stocks first before announcing it publicly. Originally named as J Butterfly in Japan and Droid DNA in the US. Unlucky for the PH market, HTC Butterfly will not have LTE radio in it. Only the US folks will enjoy it.
The ports of the HTC butterfly are covered hence it was confirmed by HTC that it is a water resistant phone. Yes, you can take calls while on shower! 🙂
The new flagship smartphone of HTC is already out in the market bearing an SRP of P32,190.
The folks at HTC Philippines also shared that they have very low returns in terms of RMA (return merchandise authorization) because of quality build of their product.
The lack of LTE radio in the device however makes it a little bit pricey. We have to wait for a few more months as they promise to bring in an LTE smarpthone called HTC One SV LTE.
