HTC Philippines have been equally aggressive in the smartphone department. The Taiwanese manufacturer HTC which is an acronym of High Tech Computer Corporation headed by Mark Dewey Sergio threw a year-end party for the media and its partners a couple of days ago. In the year-end party, they launched three more smartphones. HTC Explorer, HTC Radar, and HTC Rhyme.
HTC Explorer which comes cheaper among the three is powered by the latest HTC Sense already, in this batch of phones HTC Sense is already 3.5, processor is at 600Mhz, with a total storage of 512Mb, a 3MP camera, a 3.2-inch touch screen with HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) display, weighs 108 grams only, you also get standard connectivity – micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack.
HTC Rhyme is for the ladies, hands down. It comes with a docking station which auto-rotate the screen at displays the clock. This model also comes with a charm which you connect to your audio port and your phone can stay inside your bag all the time, and when a call is initiated, and SMS comes in it will blink. A girl thing indeed. It also comes with a tangle-free headset by HTC. Rhyme sports a 5MP camera with face detection feature, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon, Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.5.
HTC Windows-powered phone is Radar.
