Three (3) Things I love about Huawei Watch GT2e

I love mechanical watches, but opportunities like reviewing a smartwatch as the Huawei Watch GT2E came across, I had to indulge in.

Because smartwatches are an intelligent piece of technology that can assist the user than just being there as a watch.

I have been using Huawei’s latest smartwatch, the Huawei GT2E.

Like I mentioned in my unboxing video, I have that tiny fitness tracker to help me monitor the number of steps I make daily.

Now let’s get to the point of this article.

I loved the Huawei Watch GT2E and here are the reasons why.

Huawei Watch GT2E Review

1. It is lightweight

It only weighs 43.5 grams without the strap. Now when I say it is lightweight, I base it from my experience using a mechanical watch. I have to remove it after a whole-day work. But the Huawei GT2E can remain in my wrist for the rest of the day without any issue.

2. It is my personal caregiver, sort of

The basic reason why it is a smartwatch is its intelligence. It tells me when it’s time to walk and complete the much-needed 10,000 steps needed for a day.

I don’t have to buy another monitoring device to check my heart rate. It accurately monitors it. So when it is time to slow down you’ll know by just a few taps on the watch.

Also, Huawei TruSleep 2.0 works well in monitoring your sleep. For the middle-aged men like me, I have to monitor the quality of sleep I make. And Huawei TrueSleep 2.0 can be my virtual caregiver because it diagnoses and track my sleeping habit and then it provides a suggestion for better relaxation. It monitors the quality of sleep I make and the number of times I was actually awake.

3. It’s fun and functional

The watch faces available are very fun to use. Again, my base comparison is my mechanical watch. Compared to my Seikos that require a good amount of money if I want to change the watch face, the Hauwei GT2E needs no purchase to replace the watch face. There are more than 20 available watch faces to wear and match with your mood or “OOTD”.

The Huawei GT2E isn’t my first smartwatch. But the popular issues I had previously is the battery life. This one has kickass battery life. It can last you 2 weeks. Yes, you have to charge it twice a month only.

Finally, I can wash the dishes without even removing it from my wrist. Thanks to the 5 ATM water-resistant feature of the watch.
