iPhone 5 Pricing, early PH customers get it at P47k

So the old news was not true. Philippines is not the first in Asia to get the iPhone 5.

But, if you insist you can still get it earlier than scheduled, the gray market will sell it at a whooping PhP 47,000.00. That is a price of a entry level 11-inch Macbook Air!

Well, nobody is forcing you to buy it. But I tell you there will be early buyers even at that price. PinoyTechblog reports it will arrive next week in the Philippines via WidgetCity.

I got curious with that report so I check the online stores of Apple and compared pricing.

In the US you get the 16G at USD199 but you are tied with a 2-year contract with the Telcos. But in other regions, lets check the pricing.

In Australia, you get it at AUD799 which is around Php 34,699.

If you buy in in Canada, you get it at CAD 699 and it is Php29,842 when converted to Peso.

The nearest in the Philippines is Singapore, if want to get it from SG you get it at SGD 948, that is about PhP32,302

The closest is HongKong, they will have the stocks arriving tomorrow. I heard WidgetCity is getting its stocks from there. Here’s the Apple price in HK.

Priced at HK$ 5588 when converted to Peso will give you around PhP30,104.

Now you decide.

Order it online from HK or SG, or get it at P47k locally. Shoot an email to preorder.widgetcity@gmail.com now!
