Lenovo is gearing up for another big year following its stellar performance during the fiscal year 2018-19, which saw the company once again claiming the top spot in worldwide PC shipments. This is a feat driven by significant growth largely coming from sales in its consumer division.
Lenovo’s recently concluded fiscal year reveals that the company’s revenue reached an all-time high of $51 billion, up 12.5% YOY, with company net income reaching$597 million. A strong fourth quarter performance also led to double-digit growth with revenue coming from its PC and Smart devices amounting to $38.5 billion, making Lenovo the #1 PC company in the world with a record market share of 23.4% for the fiscal year while also becoming the fastest-growing among the top five players (+9.5% YOY).
“Lenovo’s solid performance reflects the continuous efforts on our strategies to put the customer at the core of our business. In today’s world, we focus on enabling them to thrive through the process of ‘intelligent transformation’ by continuing to provide innovative technology whose features can perform in a wide variety of tasks, whether for gaming, entertainment, work, and everything in between,” said Lenovo Philippines Country General Manager Michael Ngan.
Flagship Ultrabook: Yoga S940
Headlining the new Yoga devices is the Yoga S940 (PHP 115,995). Measuring a sleek 12.2 mm and weighing only 1.2 kg, it is the world’s first laptop to have Contour Glass which wraps around the display for smoother edges that minimize the appearance of its already thin bezels. Accompanying the Yoga S940 is the Yoga S730, a device designed to be an ideal travel companion with its weight of 1.1 kg, thinness of 11.9mm, and its cooling system that pulls air through secondary vents hidden in the keyboard.
The upcoming IdeaPads, on the other hand, will be led by the IdeaPad S540, available in six variants. The most premium will come with NVIDIAGeForce GTX 1650 graphics card and an Intel Core i7-8565U processor (P69,995). Meanwhile, multiple variants of the ultra-slim IdeaPad S340, the 2-in-1 convertible laptop IdeaPad C340, and the powerful everyday laptop IdeaPad S145 are also arriving, with higher variants coming with a Microsoft Office Perpetual bundle worth P5,995.

Premium Care Support also includes a 2-year onsite warranty, wherein Lenovo’s skilled and experienced technicians offering comprehensive hardware and software support will go directly to the customer’s location for any troubleshooting needs, an unmatched service unique to Lenovo for customers’ extra peace of mind.
