The latest addition to the already long list of flagship phones for 2012 is the LG Optimus G. LG finally launched Optimus G today and it is armed with the fastest processor and an impressive camera.
Optimus G will have a 13-megapixel camera and a 4.7-inch HD display, and the latest LTE device launched after the iPhone 5.
It measures 5.19-in x 2.71-in x 0.33-in, making it a little bit wider and thinner than the Optimus 4X HD. It weighs 144.86 grams, and will be available in black and white. The 4.7-inch display with a true HD IPS+ display with a 1,280×768 resolution and an aspect ratio of 15:9 is not a gorilla glass display with three capacitive buttons.
The processor will be a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core CPU, making it as the fastest processor as of today. Its 2100mAh sealed Li-polymer battery powers the Optimus G that will also have Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. As for the RAM, it has 2G DDR.
Other interesting specs includes 32GB of built-in flash storage, no microSD card slot. For the connectivity features, it has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, and NFC.
Engadget says price will be around USD895.
