LG Launches UltraGear Gaming Monitors with World’s First 240Hz OLED Panel
At CES 2023, LG Electronics (LG) showed off its newest UltraGearTM OLED gaming monitors, the 27GR95QE and the 45GR95QE. LG’s new UltraGear monitors show that the company is the best in the fast-growing OLED category and continues to be the best in the gaming display market worldwide.

The new 27-inch and 45-inch models have the world’s first 240Hz OLED panel, which LG only makes. It has a response time of less than 0.03 milliseconds Gray-to-Gray (GTG) and better self-lit picture quality with accurate, lifelike colors and infinite contrast. Because of this cutting-edge display technology, the most recent models check every box regarding what customers want in a gaming monitor.
27-inch OLED Gaming Monitor with Unprecedented Speed
LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor (model 27GR95QE) gives the degree of performance needed to get the most of the latest game titles; its QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution OLED display provide a 240Hz refresh rate and a remarkable 0.03ms (GTG) response time for blissfully smooth, low-latency gaming. It also spans 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering bright graphics that represent entirely the vision of the game designers and digital artists who produced them. Additionally, the monitor’s Anti-glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) panel makes it easier to see what is on screen so that gamers may have a distraction-free gaming experience regardless of ambient light conditions.
LG’s 27-inch UltraGear provides fluid graphics with little tearing or stuttering thanks to compatibility with a variable refresh rate (VRR), NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, FreeSync Premium, and VESA Adaptive Sync. It also supports HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity, as well as a 4-pole headphone connector, allowing users to enjoy the realistic, multidimensional sound of DTS Headphone:X. Meanwhile, the accompanying remote control allows for simple display management and the extra convenience of customizable hotkeys.
Next-level Immersion with 45-inch Curved OLED Display
Model 45GR95QE, a CES 2023 Innovation Award winner, is LG’s first 45-inch curved OLED gaming monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio and WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution screen. It’s also the first 45-inch display with an 800R curvature, an intriguing new form factor designed to give next-generation gaming experiences. The curved UltraGear monitor’s matt Anti-glare & Low Reflection OLED panel is easier on the eyes than a typical LED panel, and has been certified as a low blue light product by prominent worldwide testing organizations TÜV Rheinland and UL Solutions.
The amazing, curved OLED panel of the 45GR95QE has a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 98.5 percent DCI-P3 coverage, creating vibrant colors, deep blacks, and sharp pictures that not only bring the onscreen action to life but also heighten the player’s focus. The 45-inch model, like its 27-inch brother, boasts a reaction time of less than 0.03ms GTG and a refresh rate of 240Hz. The 45GR95QE gives true game immersion by utilizing the enormous potential of OLED.
