Mel Migriño joins Gogolook, developer of Whoscall, to provide strategic direction and guidance towards achieving a Scam Free Pilipinas

Mel Migrio was appointed Southeast Asia Regional Director for Information Security and Regulatory Alliance and Philippines Country Representative by Gogolook, the company that created Whoscall.

Migrio will be responsible for directing Gogolook’s efforts to establish and maintain connections with critical regional players, such as government agencies, regulators, and industry associations, to expand the company’s capabilities in offering industry-leading services. She will also be in charge of creating and implementing Gogolook’s information security and regulatory strategy. As Gogolook’s Country Representative, she will collaborate with the teams to establish partnerships and design and implement strategies for Whoscall’s expansion in both the private and public sectors, to increase the visibility and impact of the Scam Free Pilipinas campaign.

Mel Migrio has over 20 years of expertise in Southeast Asia cybersecurity and has held executive positions in various organizations. Her accomplishments include many worldwide cybersecurity accolades, including Top 1 CSO30 ASEAN and Hong Kong, Security Leader of the Year by Women in IT accolades, and Foundry (previously IDG) CIO100 Awardee. She has also been named a worldwide cybersecurity influencer by IFSEC worldwide and the leading female network cybersecurity representative by The Cyber Express. Mel Migrio has also long been a champion for women’s rights and development and actively advocating gender equality in the cybersecurity business. She is the Chairman of the Board for the Women in Security Alliance Philippines (WiSAP) and the Philippines CIO Association and a member of the ASEAN CIO Association’s Executive Committee.
