Nokia phones will be known as Microsoft Mobile soon

This isn’t a surprise but an expected event to happen. The used-to-be giant Finnish company Nokia or Nokia Oyj will be renamed to Microsoft Mobile Oy.

Future phones might no longer have the Nokia, instead Microsoft Mobile or its logo will be visible.

We obtained a soft copy of the letter from Nokia (via  NokiaPowerUser.com) to its suppliers. Reflected in the business letter are the changes of business invoices and VAT ID, including new bank accounts of Microsoft Mobile.

With this change, a little good news has remained specially for the suppliers of Nokia. The new wholly-owned subsidiary of Microsoft will retain its current terms and conditions.

As for the products like feature and smartphones, we can expect the same design with a new logo.
