Nude Audio bluetooth speakers are out in the market and they make really cute speakers. We got the Nude M as a review unit and this has been a super late review. 🙁
Nude M is only one out of the few speakers available in the market today. You can see these speakers mostly in Apple resellers in the metro today.
Unboxing
Nude comes on a simple box. Inside is the Nude M speakers, a simple micro-USB cable, a quick start guide and a manual, and a promotional sticker. It does not come with a charger. Maybe because the Nude guys assumes that you have one already. Hehe.
Nude M has the power buttons, volume rocker and the Bluetooth button located on one side.
On the other side you will find the micro-USB port and on the corner is the 3.5mm audio input in case you don’t like to use the wireless (Bluetooth) feature of the speakers.
Build and Quality
Nude M is for medium. If you want a bigger speakers you can get the Nude L. The M is housed rubberised kind of casing that is tightly hugging the speakers. It comes with three colors – gray with green cord, black and gray with orange cord. What we got is the gray with green cord. This one is the model that suits the office girl with back pack.
With the rubber case in place, the Nude M is protected against little bumps here and there. The front has perforated grill with a metal kind of material.

Audio quality
Audio quality is great when you think about the cost of the speakers. Plus the advertisement of Nude speakers that it can last eight hours is true. The audio it produces is not a noise. You can control the volume from the speakers itself or you can put it to maximum level and just control the audio output from your player. If you are into customizing the base, trebble and all, Nude M does not have this option so leave on whatever the default settings are. But I have not found anything to customize, after all the speakers has a great audio quality. It produce loud sound, but you will not hear any distortion even if you put the volume to the maximum level.
Using it as speaker phone
When you use your phone to play your favorite Spotify playlist and a friend calls you, there is no need to use the phone. You can use Nude M to answer the call. It works like a speaker phone. But you want to use it only when you are alone in your room, not in coffee shops or office.
Battery life
Like it is advertised, Nude M gives me eight long hours of playback. So from the time you hit the office until your fold your laptop to go home, your Nude M is still playing your songs for you. If you are backpacking with your friends, Nude M will keep you company towards the long walk ahead. When battery gets into 30% level, it will produce a sound reminding you that the battery life is low. When charging the green LED will blink. Once it is full, the LED light will steady.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a portable wireless speakers on a budget that will not hurt your pocket, put Nude M in your list. You can put it in your backpack, in your car dashboard, in your table, or hang it in your kitchen.
Don’t ask for NFC connectivity features, it was explained by Nude M that they don’t like to add more features to keep the pricing affordable.
