If your past time is taking selfie, why not push it to another level and join OPPO’s National Selfie Day and you could get a new smartphone this holiday season.
December is indeed a season of giving. As a way of extending gratitude, mobile technology brand OPPO is giving away 100 units of F1s to lucky Facebook users who will participate in the National Selfie Day Contest.
“The National Selfie Day Contest is OPPO’s way of giving back after all the milestones we made this year. It’s also our way of rewarding netizens for creatively expressing their most unforgettable holiday moments in selfies,” said OPPO Philippines Brand Marketing Manager Stephen Cheng.
To join the contest, participants must first go to OPPO Philippines’ Facebook page and click the National Selfie Photo Contest tab. Upon registration, participants must provide their full name, contact number, and email address. Each Facebook account can upload only one selfie entry.
Uploaded selfies must be in JPG, GIF, or PNG format and should be at least 300×300 pixels. For the entry to be valid, a creative caption must accompany the selfie along with the hashtags #OPPOSelfieExpert and #NationalSelfieDay.
Judges will select the winners from entries with the most votes. Participants can vote for only one entry but not their own selfie.
Winners will be announced on December 28 via OPPO’s Facebook page. They will also be notified through e-mail.

Contest Mechanics
- Visit the OPPO Philippines Facebook Page and click the National Selfie Day Contest tab or visit this link: http://onfb.in/NationalSelfieDay.
- The participant must register his/her full name, contact number, email and address.
- Upload a photo selfie and caption the photo (only JPG, GIF or PNG files are allowed. Maximum file size is 6MB. The photo has to be at least 300×300 pixels). Include the #OPPOSelfieExpert and #NationalSelfieDay hashtags in the caption for the entries to be considered valid.
- Each Facebook account is entitled to a maximum of one (1) selfie entry only.
- Entries may be submitted from December 5, 2016 (12MN) to December 26, 2016 (11:59PM).
- Voting is a part of the judging criteria. The owner of the entry cannot vote for his/her own selfie entry. One Facebook account can only vote for a specific selfie entry once (1).
- Deadline of submission of entries is on December 26, 2016 at 11:59 PM.
- Only the top 100 entries which received the highest scores based on the judging criteria will win an OPPO F1s.
- The judging and determination of winners will be on December 27-28, 2016, beginning 1 PM at Unit 2901-2904 One Corporate Center, Julia Vargas Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City in the presence of a DTI representative and authorized representatives of Philippine OPPO Mobile Technology Inc.
- Announcement of winners will be done on December 28, 2016 via Facebook post. Registered mail will also be sent to the winners.
- All prize taxes shall be shouldered by the Philippine OPPO Mobile Technology Inc.
- Winners can claim their prizes from the OPPO Concept Store nearest to them. They must present at least one (1) valid ID and the registered notice for verification upon claiming. The winners must present a valid ID which contains the same information as his/her registered details. The winners can claim their prizes until 60 days after they receive their registered mail.
RULES:
- Prizes are transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services, products, or tours.
- Only entries submitted from December 5, 2016 to December 26, 2016 will be considered valid.
- A participant can only win once.
