Twitter has a new boss in the South East Asian market, including India and Middle East and North Africa. The new boss is an Indian national by the name of Parminder Singh.
Parry was a former Google guy, he was the former Managing Director for Asia Pacific for Google Display business
Parry’s key responsibilities will include setting up and building Twitter’s business in countries experiencing explosive user growth such as Indonesia and Philippines, as well as driving the next stage of revenue growth in the Middle East and exploring commercial opportunity for Twitter in India.
His previous position was Managing Director – APAC for Google’s Display business, where he was responsible for driving the growth of GDN (Google Display Network) in APAC by commercializing new products and solutions. He has also previously held key positions in technology companies like Apple & IBM.
He graduated with a degree of Physics from Delhi University and holds an MBA (Marketing) from University Business School, Chandigarh, India. The new chief is a runner and regularly runs half marathons.
Parry Signh and his family is currently living in Singapore.
