PepsiCo has put out an open call starting today, March 20, and going through May 1, 2023, to find 10 start-ups in the Asia-Pacific region whose solutions integrate purpose into their missions and make a real difference for the business, consumers, communities, and the environment. The chosen start-ups get $20,000 in funding and will also take part in a four-month business optimization program that is meant to speed up growth. The program offers personalized mentoring with experts from different PepsiCo functions, including leading and emerging brands, to help with important early-stage business tasks like strategic planning, corporate structuring, and fundraising. During the program, startups will also be able to get help with brand optimization, product development, supply chain management, customer acquisition, and product distribution.

At the end of the program, one start-up will get an extra USD$100,000 in funding to keep growing and the chance to keep working with PepsiCo on future projects.

PepsiCo started its Greenhouse program in Europe in 2017. In the fall of 2018, the program was expanded to North America, and in 2022, it was expanded to AMESA. The Greenhouse Accelerator program is in its seventh year, and during that time, 58 new brands have grown their sales by an estimated $8 million.
