Our blogging hobby includes not only attending events, going to coffee shops to brainstorm on how effectively write a blog, talk about what to blog, etcetera. But we are photography enthusiasts too.
Seldom we go out without our SLR’s in or bags. And to be wise about investing in a not-cheap-hobby like this, we all agreed to be Canon users. Simply because we can exchange accessories most of the time. I can for example borrow Daddyjoey’s battery grip if I want to cover a whole-day event, or he can also borrow my telephoto lens if he needs to cover a sporting event.
And how do we recover our investments? Hmmm, that’s tough. I don’t just buy gadgets or stuff which will not bring me some ROI’s. I always make sure that at some point my investment will have a return and even more, generate profit. It would be more fun if you are enjoying your hobby and at the same time getting some returns for some future upgrades. 🙂 Just my two cents.
