PLDT Enterprise supports vaccination program for BPOs in Davao

The Davao City local government has received free access from PLDT Enterprise, the B2B arm of the Philippines’ largest fully integrated telecoms firm, in support of its ‘Resbakuna’ vaccination program for the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.

Ben Melasa, PLDT Enterprise Corporate Relationship Management Head for Mindanao, said the business has been devoted to assisting the BPO industry, which has been one of the pandemic’s hardest-hit industries. In response, PLDT Enterprise has provided the UM Gym Matina immunization location in Davao with free fixed and broadband internet services.

“As one of the most important industries in the Philippines, we are more than glad to assist the BPO sector as they strive to protect their workforces against the disease. It’s a pleasure for PLDT Enterprise to take part in enabling the efficient administration of vaccines through providing free connectivity services,” said Melasa.

Apart from promoting immunization programs, PLDT Enterprise has been enabling the BPO business through technological solutions that ensure the sector’s continued top service despite mobility constraints that compelled the workers to work from home.

PLDT Enterprise has been providing enhanced cybersecurity solutions through its ePLDT Cyber Security Endpoint Advanced Security, business-grade internet through PLDT BEYOND FIBER, and the PLDT Zero-Trust Acceleration Platform (PLDT ZAP) to complement its other connectivity solutions to the BPO industry.

PLDT Enterprise has been instrumental in the continuous staff immunizations of its parent company, the MVP Group, in addition to assisting the immunization efforts of Davao BPO employees. This is accomplished by using BEYOND FIBER and PLDT Branch-In-A-Box, which enable capabilities such as Wifi 6, SD-WAN, switches, and smart video surveillance systems, to implement enterprise-grade internet connectivity and security solutions across all immunization locations.
