Pokémon Kids TV celebrates its 1st anniversary
with Cat’s Kitchen “Sweets Paradise”
Pokémon Kids TV celebrated its one anniversary on February 1, 2022. This is an official Pokémon YouTube learning channel with a variety of video for kids, including Pokémon songs, nursery rhymes, and instructional material. Pokémon Kids TV has also grown in popularity among children all around the world, with over 2 million subscribers and over 60 million total views in just a year.

To commemorate the occasion, Pokémon Kids TV and Cat’s Kitchen, a well-known Chinese video production team, have created a series of live-action CGI videos titled “Pokémon Sweets Paradise,” which depicts the day-to-day life of a man who lives with Pokémon and includes the process of making sweets.
The series will be localized in English and made available on the Pokémon Kids TV YouTube channel, following its success in China. There will be three episodes in all, with each one being published in March, April, and May. In addition to English subtitles, Thai, Indonesian, and Hindi subtitles will be added in the goal of bringing Pokémon to more children and parents in different parts of the world.
Cat’s Kitchen is a well-known Chinese video production firm that concentrates on cuisine. Since its inception in 2013, the team has amassed over 60 million followers and 78 billion video views in China. For his passionate handmade cuisine and welcoming environment, the creator, Lao Dao, who appears in the film as himself, has received a lot of love from many followers. In the future, the channel also plans to collaborate with different creators and create videos in various genres.

Aside from the localization of “Pokémon Sweets Paradise”, the channel also has a plan to localize more Pokémon songs in different languages such as Thai, Indonesian, and Hindi, with “Pi-Pi-Pi-Pi☆Pikachu” song as its pilot project.
