realme 9 Pro Series set to launch in the PH on March 15

realme, the Philippines’ number one smartphone brand for 2021 (according to Canalys and IDC sell-in statistics for Q1-Q4 2021), will introduce its next Number Series line-up, the realme 9 Pro Series, on March 15. The realme 9 Pro Series comprises two unique smartphones that bring flagship-level functionality to the midrange sector, with the goal of empowering Filipinos to #CaptureTheLight like a Pro.

The realme 9 Pro+ is the brand’s latest photographic powerhouse, including the industry-leading Sony IMX766 flagship sensor, as well as a slew of other remarkable features like the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G Processor, a 90Hz Super AMOLED Display, and a 4500mAh Battery with 60W SuperDart Charge.

realme 9 Pro+:

The realme 9 Pro, on the other hand, is a 5G-capable photographic powerhouse that has, among other things, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, a 64MP Nightscape Camera, and a 120Hz Ultra Smooth Display.

“We know how passionate consumers are when it comes to mobile photography so we wanted to bring the best in camera technology within the midrange segment. With this in mind, realme designed its newest Number Series smartphones to cater to content creators and photography enthusiasts and professional photographers, so they may hone their craft and expand their creativity when taking pro-level content,” shares Austine Huang, realme Philippines’ VP for Marketing. “We can’t wait for our Filipino Squad to #CaptureTheLight like a Pro with the realme 9 Pro Series,” adds Huang.

realme 9 Pro: flagship-level camera capabilities

Low-light photography is a significant priority for realme’s most sophisticated Number Series smartphone. Following the success of last year’s 108MP-equipped realme 8 Pro, the company set out to develop a camera feature that shoots exceptional low-light photographs while remaining within a mid-range pricing point. This is why the realme 9 Pro+ has Pro-Light Imaging Technology.

This useful feature combines software and hardware to solve the three most important factors to consider while capturing low-light photos: camera sensor size, lighting conditions, and stability. The realme 9 Pro+’s 50MP Sony IMX 766 rear camera captures more light, resulting in better images even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions. Furthermore, the realme 9 Pro+ includes a Dual Stabilization System, which includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) to ensure that images turn out properly even with shaky or unexpected motions. Finally, AI Noise Reduction Engine 3.0 is integrated into every image captured with the main camera to significantly enhance photographs taken by the realme 9 Pro+.

Meanwhile, the realme 9 Pro is similarly capable of creating clear and vibrant photographs, thanks to its 64MP Nightscape Camera, which has been fine-tuned to shoot high-resolution photos in a variety of lighting circumstances.

Both the realme 9 Pro+ and the realme 9 Pro are also compatible with Street Photography 2.0, which includes the Smart Long Exposure function, which makes capturing long-exposure images with numerous creative settings simple. Other additions to this functionality include a new 90’s Pop Filter, which replicates retro colors from images taken in the 1990s, and Peak and Zoom, which allows you greater control over your creations when shooting on the streets.

Another characteristic of the realme 9 Pro Series that the Squad can look forward to is its 5G-ready capabilities. The Mediatek Dimensity 920, a power-efficient 6nm octa-core CPU that delivers flagship-level performance and Dual-5G connection, powers the realme 9 Pro+. The realme 9 Pro is no slouch either since it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 CPU.

Overheating is not an issue with these strong chipsets in the realme 9 Pro+ and realme 9 Pro, as cooling technologies are in place to maintain appropriate temperatures for greater battery health.

In addition to these capabilities, the realme 9 Pro Series has Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) technology, which enables the device to utilize up to 5GB of the phone’s internal storage as virtual RAM to facilitate smoother multitasking, particularly while running heavy programs.

Design and build

realme 9 Pro+:

The Light Shift Design is another outstanding innovation found in the realme 9 Pro Series. The Sunrise Blue model of both the realme 9 Pro+ and the realme 9 Pro, developed by the realme Design Studio, employs three photochromic layers that allow it to shift colors from blue to red when exposed to direct sunshine. To top it all off, the firm added a brilliant hybrid stardust layering as a finish on the back of the phone, giving it an iridescent glitter.

For those who like a dark and sleek panel, the realme 9 Pro+ and realme 9 Pro are also available in Aurora Green.

The realme 9 Pro Series will be unveiled on March 15, 6 p.m., via a live stream event on the realme Philippines Facebook page.
