The market has been tested by Xiaomi (MI) when they sold 3,000 units of MI 3 locally (in the Philippines) within less than 2 hours on June 26, 2014. But of course, it was a different scenario when they did the sale online sale in Malaysia. There were 8,000 units sold in Malaysia for less than 2 minutes. Nonetheless, the first sale was a huge success. Now we have to wait for the second wave of sale. #Abangers.
So what is next?
RedMi Note perhaps? Why not. This phablet is already available in other Asian countries like Hong Kong, and it will go on sale tomorrow June 27, 2014 12:00 noon.
RedMi Note has a large screen of 5.5-inch with IPS display and a screen resolution or 1280 x 720. Just like Kata M1, it has 13MP rear camera adn 5MP at the front.
It is powered by a 1.7Ghz MediaTek octa-core processor and a Mali 450 GPU. Dual-SIM for HSPA and GSM. A huge battery of 3200mAh.
Android 4.2 Jellybean which is running under its own UI called MIUI version 5. Specs is quite basic, but I guess the phablet will capitalize on its gaming experience and the quality of photos the camera will create. I have posted one of the camera shot done by RedMi Note and I think I want to buy one for myself.
