Last November 2016, new Cherry Mobile brochures for its Christmas season have been made available in stores nationwide. One of the devices in the paper, the Cherry Mobile Flare Maxx is not available since then but yesterday, as I went to SM Manila, the phone is already in stores.
Unsurprisingly, the handset runs on a dated Android v6.0 “Marshmallow”. Well, it takes a pinch of salt if the company will release a “Nougat” update. Specs-wise, the Flare Maxx bears a massive 6.44-inch Full HD display with 2.5D glass screen. Under the hood, phablet device houses an octa core MediaTek MT6753 system on a chip. The CPU runs at 1.3 GHz, which is about typical for clock speed. For the audio, the phone packs in OPA1612 + ES9018K2M chips offering nice audio experience.
On the camera side, the 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture is available on the back, and an 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front. It is also worth mentioning that the Flare Maxx is only 8 mm thick, which makes it a really thin phablet.

Availability
The Chery Mobile Flare Maxx is priced at P9,999 and is potentially aim for certain users who liked large battery size and display. For me, it’s good for multimedia capability. As of this moment, it is only available in Champagne Gold model.
