Samsung Galaxy Gear VR and Gear 360 (2017) officially launched in PH

Earlier today, Samsung Mobile Philippines introduced two new devices for an immersive entertainment experience, the Gear 360 (2017) and Gear VR (2017). These models aimed at users who are actively engaged in many adventure events.

The Gear 360 (2017) has evolved from the original version to a more designed and easier to use that lets you record in 4K resolution or broadcast live, whether it’s a special event and then make it your own with pairing on your smartphone, using the Samsung Gear 360 app. Due to its smaller size and redesigned structure, easy-to-grip body, the Gear 360 (2017) is now more convenient.

Live Broadcast, is a feature that can be used in 360-degree live streaming to Facebook and YouTube. All of your unique photos and videos are viewed in five different modes: 360˚StretchedRoundDual, and Panoramic views.

A USB Type-C port and a microSD card slot (supports up to 256GB) are located on the left side. There is a tripod mount port that is centered on the bottom with a small lanyard opening on the lower right. For those who’ll buy the Gear 360 (2017), a lanyard with a rubber ring at one end is included in the package. This rubber ring lays on the bottom of the Gear 360 so it can straighten up perpendicular for recording images and video. Another accessory is a soft gray cloth bag to carry the Gear 360 and protect the lenses from scratches.

On the other side, the new Gear VR (2017) with a collaboration from Oculus now has a Gear VR controller with motion-sensing, a back-up over Google’s DayDream View headset. It makes 360˚ content viewing easy and pleasant with its lightweight engineering and foam cushions that make more comfortable to use. It has more than 700 apps and games that are available to choose in the Oculus Store.
