Samsung Galaxy J7+ launches in the Philippines: Hands-on preview

Samsung Galaxy J7+ is the second Samsung smartphone to pack two cameras at the back after the flagship Galaxy Note 8. Announced here in the Philippines yesterday, this device is the most expensive of all the J7 series. Why? Take a look at the features below.

It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080p resolution and has an aluminum uni-body design, similar to what we’ve found in the Galaxy J7 Pro. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 8-core chipset with maximum frequency up to 2.4Ghz, paired with 32GB of native storage and 4GB RAM plus a microSD card support up to 256GB.

Galaxy J7+ features a dual-camera setup at the back. One is a 13-megapixel lens with f/1.7 aperture and the secondary 5-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture, making a good way of capturing professional post-depth images. Equipped with what we called the Live Focus that allows the user to control the blur amount in the surroundings during and after taking a picture. For taking beautiful selfies, the front camera shoots a 16-megapixel snapper, with an f/1.9 aperture. Adding to have some fun in capturing everyday moments with our loved ones, Samsung adds a built-in Galaxy stamps and stickers using Mobile Photobooth to enhance our photos.

“For those who want to experience the dual camera features of the flagship Galaxy Note8, the Galaxy J7+ offers the same premium and powerful experience. Its features let people enhance every moment of the day by expanding what a smartphone camera can do. The Galaxy J7+ is the best in its segment with flagship features and value for money,” said Nio Judalena, Head of Marketing for Mobile Communications Business, SEPCO.
