Smart LTE will go full blast with the addition of the LTE Pocket Wi-fi. Compared to the USB dongle introduced in the Beta testing of LTE, the Pocket Wi-fi allows you to connect not only your laptop, but you can max it to up to 10 devices.

The Pocket Wi-Fi is the Huawei E589 which supports multiple bands used by Smart . Smart uses the following bands – Band 1 – 2100 MHz, Band 3 – 1800 MH and Band 5 – 850 MHz.

Smart did not disclose the pricing for the Pocket Wi-Fi however, I guess this will be the same as the dongle which is under Plan 3,500.

Smart LTE was launched commercially last August,  and is initially offered on Plan 3500. The package includes a free LTE dongle which can be used on an unlimited basis until October 25, 2012.
