Trend Micro promotes online privacy with "What's Your Story" vid contest

TrenMicro, a global security company put out a call for young Filipinos with age starting 13 years old and above to submit video entries designed to inspire others their age to ensure their safety on the Internet.

Teeners should make up to 2-minute video and upload it to http://whatsyourstory.trendmicro.ph website between November 1 until December 13, 2013. Categories of the contest includes individual for the 18 years old and above category, and for school category, participants must be between 13 years old and 17 years old and their entries must be submitted by a school representative.

The 2013 “What’s Your Story” contest encourages the youth to share, voice out and influence their peers on responsible use of the Internet by creating original videos addressing this years theme.

Two winners from each category will be selected from submitted entries in the Philippines. Both categories will have a Grand Prize winner and a 1st Runner Up entitled to USD2,000 and USD600 respectively. The top 2 entries will represent the country in the APAC (Asia-Paficic) regional competition where two overall winners will be awarded a grand prize of USD,5000 each.
