Jawbone sent us their latest wearable device, the UP Move. Launched in November this year, UP Move is now in stores in the Philippines. You can find this mostly in Apple authorized resellers like Beyond The Box and PowerMac Center.

Like the Up 24 it uses the app “UP” downloadable from Google Play or Apple Store. You have to turn on your smarpthone or tablet’s Bluetooth to connect your Up Move and then start the connectivity and monitor your activities from there.

It is always connected and updates regularly.

Up Move vs Up 24

While the Up24 looks classy in your wrist, it is limiting in terms of adjusting it because of its fix size. UP Move comes in a rubber clip and it has accessories like the slim strap which is adjustable.

You can clip UP Move to any part of you body during your physical activities and when its time to monitor your sleep, you have to transfer it to the slim trap and wear it while sleeping. In addition, you have to turn on the sleep mode by pressing the button until the sleep icon displays.

UP Move is powered by a battery which does not require you to charge the device. CR 2032 3V is available in any hardware store or watch store. I guess Up Move is better than Up 24 because when the battery of Up 24 is gone, you have to throw away the device. Not in the case of Up Move, you can just buy a battery replacement and it is cheaper. According to Jawbone, the CR 2032 battery that comes with the tracker can last up to six months.

Come back again for the full review after a week or two. But here’s what I can say, I like it better than the Up24!
