It features a 20-megapixel front camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and a rear dual cameras sporting 20-megapixel (Sony IMX376) and 12-megapixel (Sony IMX486) sensors, supported by AI software that can recognize up to 206 scenes with 12 different portrait modes. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. Even with these features typically only found in upper mid-range smartphones or above P20K price category, the Xiaomi Mi 6X is available at just CNY 1,599 or almost ~P13,200 in local conversion for the 64GB + 4GB model, which is an absolute beast. The battery packs a non-removable 3,010 mAh capacity that supports Quick Charge 3.0 which charges up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Display-wise, the Mi 6X carries a large 5.99-inch LTPS 18:9 screen in a gorgeous full metal body. It uses the USB Type-C port and has three memory options: 64GB + 4GB, 64GB + 6GB and the huge 128GB + 6GB. It will be available in five different colors: Black, Sand Gold, Glacier Blue, Cherry Pink and Flame Red. The handset runs on Android 8.1 “Oreo” with MIUI 9.5 and will be launched globally as the Mi A2 with stock Android version and will be also part of the Android One program.
