The holidays are here, and Xiaomi has brought them in with a bang! The grand opening of the Xiaomi flagship store on Bonifacio High Street in BGC included a star-studded holiday concert called Xiaomi Pop 2022, a cozy Christmas party for the community, and a buffet of products on sale.
As the festival’s main event, the Xiaomi Pop 2022 Concert did not disappoint anyone. Fans were treated to an evening of performances by some of the industry’s hottest talents. P-pop boy band BGYO opened the main event with their hit tunes, and they also chose a lucky fan to dance alongside them on stage. After that, singer and actor Darren Espanto serenaded the crowd with his versions of popular Christmas songs.
Moira Dela Torre, a singer who has won many awards, ended the night with a beautiful, emotional performance of one of her ballads. She also shared a memorable moment with her admirers by taking a selfie with her Xiaomi phone.
As the crowd sang along to their favorite songs, the energy in the room was electric. Fans yelled when Xiaomi smartphones were given away as prizes during the fun events. It was a great night.
Prizes Galore
The BHS Amphitheater was crowded with nearly 300 Xiaomi fans who arrived for the community Christmas party. The day was filled with activities, Xiaomi awards, and special performances from the Xiaomi crew and fans.
New flagship store
The opening of the new flagship store located at B3, 7th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street, BGC, Taguig City, was made even more remarkable with Xiaomi Country Manager Kenny Cheong’s participation led the ribbon-cutting ceremony together with Blue Lite Gadgets Inc. executive Leandro Poblete. Gabbi Garcia, a TV celebrity and Xiaomi brand ambassador were also present. Guests were treated to an exclusive in-store tour of the new Xiaomi concept shop, giving them a first-hand look at the latest items from the global tech giant.
Customers took advantage of Xiaomi’s discounts and freebies following the inauguration of the new store. Depending on the purchase, consumers received a variety of goodies, such as a RoboVac, Vacuum Flask, umbrella, ceramic mugs, and more. Those who purchased any of the top-tier phones, such as the Redmi Note 11S or 10 Pro, were rewarded with an even larger assortment of goodies.
