ZTE, the largest provider of information and communication technology solutions in the world, has released its financial results for the third quarter of 2022.
According to the results, ZTE’s operating income for the nine months ending on September 30, 2022, was RMB 92.56 billion, which was 10.4% more than the same time last year.
Even though the first three quarters of 2022 were tough, ZTE worked hard to work with its industry partners and live up to its position as a “driver of the digital economy.” During this time, the company improved the competitiveness of its key technologies and products by continuing to invest in research and development. This cost the company RMB 16.11 billion, or 17.4% of its 9-month operating revenue.
During this time, ZTE built its comprehensive DICT product series and solutions in three categories: efficient digital infrastructure of “connection and computing power,” flexible and agile digital capabilities, and application innovation of APPs services. With the rise of digitalization and low-carbon development around the world, ZTE’s operating revenue grew from one year to the next in both domestic and international markets, as well as in its three main businesses: carrier networks, government and enterprise, and consumer business.
In the Philippines, ZTE is still the strong backbone and partner of the top telco companies and businesses in the country. Wan Min, president of ZTE Philippines, said, “ZTE Philippines will continue to be the industry’s strong partner in driving the digital economy, with leading innovative solutions and high-quality delivery.”
Mr. Wan also said, “At the heart of ZTE, we will always be committed to new ideas.”
