For the year 2023, ZTE Corporation, a world-famous provider of IT and telecom services, has a very optimistic view. ZTE’s chairman Li Zixue said in his New Year’s address to shareholders that the business’s focus in 2023 will be on “the road that lies ahead for the company,” which means that meticulous execution is of paramount importance.

“The previous year, 2022, marked the beginning of the company’s expansion phase,” Mr. Li reflected. The global economic crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other geopolitical and geoeconomic complications all posed significant difficulties. ZTE is a company forged by adversity, and it shows. Mr. Li claims that ZTE has made consistent advancements and has persisted in its pursuit of excellence despite formidable hurdles by “following the trend of digitization and green development.”

ZTE has also increased the amount of money it spends on research and development to keep and improve the competitiveness of its most important products and technologies. The business has also strengthened its foundation and moved into uncharted territory, leading to steady growth in both Chinese and foreign markets.

ZTE has maintained year-over-year revenue growth across operator, enterprise, and consumer businesses and has assured the rapid development of new business involving Server and Storage Products (SSPs), terminals, 5G applications, automotive electronics, and digital energy.

In 2023, ZTE plans to think and do more ambitiously than ever before, achieving a stable and sustainable rate of growth thanks to its persistent innovation.

ZTE wants to keep being the best at technology and work hard to be the market leader in its most important product categories. The company will maintain its emphasis outside of China, increase efficiency, safeguard its operations, and grow into high-value markets, big networks, and strategic alliances.
