Elephone P9000 Review

One of the three devices from Elephone made it to Tech Patrol News HQ, the P9000. Out of the three Android smartphones Elephone initially brought here through Lazada, the P9000 is undeniably the most exquisite. Here’s our Elephone P9000 Review.

The 5.5-incher Elephone P9000 feels premium with its super glossy back and neat design. Button placements are generally okay but the single capacitive button is kind of out of place specially when you activate the on-screen buttons, which is more conventional.

Elephone P9000 – Build and design

I’d give Elephone P9000 a high score of 7.5 out of 10 in this category. When you hold this device, it feels solid and if you get the white glossy version, you would love it over the black rendition.

Elephone P9000 back

The back has the 13MP camera and just immediately below it is the almost camouflage fingerprint scanner.

P9000 side

On the right side are the power button and volume rocker which seems not proportionally centered and on top you will find the prevalent 3.5mm headphone jack.

P9000 bottom

One of the advantages of the P9000 is having the USB type C at the bottom part and is flanked with a pinhole mic and the speakers.

P9000 SIM Tray

On the opposite side is the SIM tray that houses two (2) micro-SIM, both runs on 4G/LTE. However, if need additional storage you can use the other slot which can secure up to 256G of micro-SD storage.

The special button there below the SIM tray is used only to mute the smartphone. I wish this button is customizable so that it can be useful in other tasks, but it is not.
