Features you should know about Fujifilm X20

Alongside with the X100s another old school but with new school specs compact camera was launched in the PH market. Fujifilm X20 boasts of advanced optical viewfinder with a Digital Trans Panel, a 12-megapixel, 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor, a fast f/2.0-2.8, 4x zoom lens, and some in-camera post processing features.

Here are top features you should take a look before indulging yourself to this compact camera by Fujifilm, the X20.

Advanced Optical Viewfinder with real time shooting data for improved usability and a bright view. Even if the camera is really compact, X20 sports a bright and clear optical viewfinder with a horizontal apparent field view of 20 degrees and coverage of 85%. It is synched to the zoom lens and comes with an eye sensor for enhanced usability. It also feature the newly-developed Digital Trans Panel – it presents the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focusing area and other shooting information so that users can continue shooting comfortably without having to take their eye off the action.

Premium image quality with edge to edge clarity and minimal noise. It has 12 million pixels 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor, a newly developed technology by Fujifilm. It also boast of its unique color filter array that eliminates the need for an optical low-pass filter, while maintaining high resolution images with edge to edge clarity.

Super fast AutoFocus – a fast as 0.06 seconds. The X-Trans CMOS II sensor has built-in Phase Detection pixels for high-speed AF. This feature that are present in current DSLRs can be enjoyed in this compact shooting gadget AF is superb.

F2.0 lets you shoot in low light. High precision F2.0-2.8 4x manual barrel zoom lens – it is made up of 11 glass elements in 9 groups, including 3 aspherical lens elements and 2 ED lens elements. A wide-angle maximum aperture of 2.0 and telephoto maximum aperture of 2.8 FUJINON’s proprietary HT-EBC coating is applied to the lens.

I got excited when I saw the two Fujifilm compact cameras last week, the X100s was equally amazing with its in-camera post processing effects, it shoots really fast. The Fujifilm X20 is the upgrade of X10. Both X100s and X20 will be out in the market before the end of March.
