Lazada 9.9 Sale

The latest service from Grab is now official. We reported this already on February 21, 2016, when they started the free ride in EDSA from Magallanes to North EDSA.

In a statement sent by Grab to Tech Patrol News, they confirmed that leading ride-hailing app, now offers free jeepney rides along EDSA for two months.

With GrabJeep, everyone will have a chance at a safe and convenient commute along the busiest thoroughfare in the metro.

“Grab’s mission has always been to drive the transport industry of Southeast Asia forward. While we already have a diverse set of services in our app, it’s about time we take a look at jeeps – one of the most traditional forms of transportation in the Philippines. We want to empower commuters with the same freedom we provide our passengers,” said Khriz Lim, Grab Philippines’ Country Marketing Head.

With Philippine Jeepneys that are the common form of transportation for commuters in Metro Manila, GrabJeep, is Grab’s upgraded jeepney experience to deliver the same quality of safety and convenience to passengers.

GrabJeeps are equipped with WiFi, television and air conditioning system.

GrabJeeps roam around EDSA daily with 11 stops: Magallanes, Ayala, Buendia, Guadalupe, Boni, Shaw, Megamall, Ortigas, Santolan, Araneta and SM North EDSA. All the stops are accessible to business districts, MRT stations and malls to make it more convenient for passengers to travel.
