One of the few smartphones introduced at the CES this year is the Ascend G6 — two versions were made by Huawei to cater to different markets, a 3G version and an LTE version. They called G6 as the affordable companion to the P6 — this is because G6 looks very similar to the former including its design and the UI.
G6 sports a 4.5-inch with qHD display, a 5MP selfie camera and an 8MP rear shooter, on top of Android 4.3 Jellybean is Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.0. G6 is very light at only 115grams and very slim at 7.5mm only.
Connectivity wise, the G6 has most of the features you would like in a smartphone – Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC and HSPA/3G. We were told the the LTE version will come later.
