LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner in a report earlier, distributed some 3,500 iPad mini to all employees of Linked In. This report was confirmed by TechCrunch.

We wanted to acknowledge the hard work and accomplishments of all of our employees in 2012. During today’s bi-weekly All Hands meeting, we surprised our employees with iPad Minis as a small gesture of the company’s gratitude for their contributions.
The company has performed well in 2012 and as a bonus, they all got iPad mini each. If one iPad mini cost USD329, that means LinkedIn spent a huge amount of almost USD 1.2M.
But in a separate report by Business Insider, an employee confirms they received the high end model 32G which cost USD 429.
LinkedIn just reached 200+ million users in January 2013, a social networking site for people in professional occupations that is present in more than 200 countries. LinkedIn was founded in 2002. LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner is a former Yahoo! executive.
