Polaroid Elixir 10” is like a book that you place in your nightstand. You don’t bring it with you, but you come home to it every night. It’s the last thing that you read before you finally turn off the lamp and go to sleep.
Like most ten-inch tablets, the Polaroid Elixir is not something that I bring together with my smartphone. Like hardcover books, its main place is on the night stand or the coffee table.
I actually use it mainly to read online courses. For example, I learned the basics of investing using this tablet. Just before I go to sleep–I take the Polaroid tablet and spend at least half an hour reading. With its huge screen size, it’s almost like a netbook. The websites display in its entirety even if it does not have a mobile version. That’s why it’s a good consumption device.
With its large screen, it’s a delight to watch movies. I feel like I have a mini HDTV on my hands. The SD slot is easily accessible making it convenient to transfer movies and TV series to the tablet.
Design
The overall design of the Polaroid Elixir is simple. There’s really nothing worth noting. But I like the back cover feels in my hand. I feel like it’s easy to grip and the materials seem sturdy enough.

Battery Life
With a 6600 mAh battery, the Polaroid Elixir’s battery life seems decent enough. In the short time I had it (around two weeks), I only had to charge it three times. This is mainly because I used it for reading and browsing. I did not play any games or used it for long periods of time.
I don’t usually like playing games in a ten-inch tablet, as it can strain my hands when playing for long a long period.
Here’s a list of the specs that you might want to consider:

If you’re looking for a portable device that you can bring with you anywhere, I won’t recommend the Polaroid Elixir 10”. But the good thing is it has actually a 7 inch counterpart.
However, if you’re like me who likes to consume books or watch movies while in bed or just at home, the Polaroid Elixir 10” is a pretty good deal. It’s SRP is P9995. Prices might very in different online and gadget stores.
