This triumph follows the previous top-selling performances of the realme 8 Series devices, which included the 108MP camera-equipped realme 8 Pro, the dependable gaming companion realme 8, and the 5G-capable realme 8 5G, all of which were released earlier this year.

realme 8 Initial Review (from the experts)

The speed is quite good for the price even the unit that we have is the base 4GB/64GB version. Just note that the extended RAM tech is only available for the higher-end variant for now. This can even run a few not that demanding games at high settings with minimal heating.

On its own, we can say that it’s a pretty impressive device as it can be relied upon for day-to-day casual use and even some slight gaming—plus the 120Hz refresh rate sure is icing on the cake.

The Realme 8i is good at what it was made to do – offering an incredibly smooth Android+RealmeUI experience and snappy performance, it can last you impressively long with the 5,000mAh battery, and its camera is dependable day and night. We had nothing but positive impressions from the display, too, and it is one of the most adaptive on the market right now.

Like the more powerful — and pricier — models in the Realme 8 series, the Realme 8i provides credible performance for not a whole lot of money. Its biggest attraction is its performance anchored by a fast, infinitely smooth display and a capable chipset. The corner-mounted cameras on both sides are a plus as well, despite the absence of an ultra-wide shooter.

realme 8i Photos (Actual)

So that you have an idea in case you want to buy now, here are actual photos from our blogger friends who had early access to realme 8i.

If you’ve been a member of the realme Squad and want to upgrade without breaking the bank, realme 8i is a decent option.

A huge 6.6-inch FHD+ screen with reasonably narrow bezels is included, as is a 120Hz refresh rate that can be swapped between the regular 60Hz if needed, and a choice of 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

Finally, the MediaTek Helio G96 on the realme 8i performs slightly better, and even faster if you’re using an older realme smartphone from two years ago.

A 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP monochrome depth sensor make up the triple-camera configuration on the rear. A 16MP front camera is available for selfies.

There isn’t a wide-angle shooter, which is a bad thing for the landscape shooters.

You may digitally zoom in from 2 to 5 times and up to 10 times. It’s far from the real scenario when zoomed in to the fullest, but it gets the job done.

Should you need more details in your photo, you can always use the 50MP lens, which gives color reproduction that is nearly identical to the normal mode.

Are you getting the realme 8i for yourself now?
