Sony Philippines brings to the market its Action Camera (to compete with GoPro). Currently it has two models, the first one was launched in November 2013, model Action Cam HDR-AS30V and Action Cam HDR-AS100V.

Action Cam has a waterproof housing which now 35% lighter and 25% smaller; slim design also cuts through wind and water when you’re freefalling, jet-skiing or streaking through that downhill run.
Capture real wide angle with with a huge 170° field of view (120° with SteadyShot on), the wide-angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens takes in panoramic landscapes, dramatic ski slopes and more.
Sony Action Cam HDR-AS30V is now available with an SRP of Php 15,999 with the Live View kit, or only P12,999 with the basic kit only.

Action CAM HDR-AS100V captures Full HD footage with high bit-rate recording at up to 50 Mbps, using the efficient new XAVC S video format, it can be controlled wirelessly with the wearable wristwatch-style RM-LVR1 Live-View Remote which an optional accessory.

Both action cameras is NFC-enabled that allows hook-ups with Xperia smartphones and other smartphones and tablets at a single touch. Alternatively, user can transfer footage or snap photos wirelessly to your mobile device for easy sharing, with no need to worry about fiddly memory cards or connecting cables. One-touch connection also launches the PlayMemories Mobile app on your smartphone, allowing quick checking of camera angles directly from your mobile’s screen.
Sony Action Cam HDR – AS100V will be available in April 2014 with an SRP of Php20,999.
