One of the many perks of being a tech blogger is you don’t only get invited to free dinner; you get a chance to have photos taken with celebrities without having to chase them, and most of all you have the opportunity to win premium raffle items.
Last month, EPSON Philippines launched their high-end projectors at the SMX Center; in that event, they gave away a few iPod Shuffles, and yes, I won one. 🙂
This week, Calvin and I attended the Chikka event at their new headquarters in Ortigas, which was attended by more or less 35 bloggers. The event was hosted by Gabe Mercado, and two Kapamilya celebrities, Dimples Romana and Melissa Ricks, were there to support the event. Luck was on my side that night, I never thought I will go home with the only raffle item of the event – the Apple iPad Wifi!
Most of the time, event organizers ensure that you leave with freebies. That’s anything from USB flash drives, mice, gift certificates, customized notebooks, and a lot more.
Not only do you get freebies and win raffle prizes, but you also get to know more friends along the way. You meet bloggers alike, photographers, and media people too.
So, let me thank the Lord for the super blessings He sent me this week, the Apple iPad Wi-fi 16G! The gadget the blogging brought!
