KENNETH COBONPUE Facebook Page disclose that this pro-bono proposal from Budji Layug, Royal Pineda and Kenneth Cobonpue in cooperation with the National Competitiveness Council of the Philippines. And they also mentioned that first step have been done already.
The AVP looks like they only did a face lift of the airport and changed the facade, putting a new layout. However the DOTC Sec. Mar Roxas in his last statement said, they are selling the old terminal and plan to relocate it in Clark, Pampanga.
I guess moving it to Clark will be a wise move. Renovating it will not reduce the traffic in the ground. It was a brilliant idea though and nice AVP.
The Pinoy designers are Budji Layug, Royal Pineda and Kenneth Cobonpue.
