Apple unveils low-spec iMac

That’s right, the headline is correct, Apple unveils a new iMac but a low-spec. I changed the headline, it would have been “Apple unveils low-cost iMac”, but since the new 21-inch iMac is lower by a few hundred dollars only, I can’t really say it is a low cost model.

According to Engadget, the new 21-inch will sport a 1.4GHz Core i5 processor which is the one found in Macbook Air.

Plus, instead of getting a 1TB storage, this model will only get a 500G internal storage.

The new 21-inch iMac will have this specs:

– 21-inchdisplay
– Intel 1.4GHz dual core i5
– 8GB RAM
– 500GB hard drive
– Intel HD Graphics

The higher-end iMac cost USD1,299. The low-spec one will retail at USD1,099 and is now available on Apple Store.
