Hongkong-based Bluboo announced S1 with 90% screen-to-body ratio, priced at just $150

Bezel-less display starts to be a trending topic in mobile world industry, when Xiaomi released Mi Mix, followed by the flagship models Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6; however, their respective prices are somewhat pricey but nevertheless, it managed to attract consumers all around the world. Now, in Bluboo things can change. At a price of just $150, you’ll get the Bluboo S1 that has bezel-less display at 5.5-inch Full HD Sharp panel with a whooping 90% screen-to-body ratio.

The phone will come in two variants: 64GB storage + 4GB RAM; and 128GB storage + 6GB RAM. Under the hood is the Helio P25 chipset powered by MediaTek processor, boasted at 2.5Ghz. For optics department, the rear sports a dual camera configuration: a 16-megapixel for capturing images and a 3-megapixel for in-depth details. The ‘bokeh’ effect is one of the features in the camera. An 8-megapixel is on the front side of the phone, enough for taking selfies or a group selfie.

On the display side, the 10% remaining space is for the home button. On that button, a fingerprint scanner is already implanted, that unlocks the phone at a speed of just 0.1s.
