FindWork Philippines
A new tech company that aims to reach to the underserved blue-collar market has launched a job search app in the Philippines. FindWork is a marketplace for “Trabahunters” or job seekers.
Findwork was founded by tech experts and innovators Kevin Willians and Allen Tan out of an admiration for the local talent.
FindWork aims to bridge the gap
With PH tourism industry initiating a stronger push towards expansion and conservation, more jobs are opening for skilled and service workers. Given that this market already accounts for over 50% of the overall employment rates, FindWork predicts that “Trabahunters” may raise this number even more, provided that they have the right tools for the job hunting.
500 Companies on-board FindWork PH
As of launching, FindWork PH has already 500 companies and over 40,000 job seekers (Trabahunters”. Both parties, accodring to Kevin Williams are enjoying 30% success rate from initial pairing to shortlisting.
Talk in real time. This is one of the features that is unique to the app, there is a chat feature that allows both the employer and the applicant to talk in real time.
Among the 500 companies that FindWork has signed up are Vivo, SM, Hotel Sogo, Starbucks, and Office Warehouse.

The IOS version is coming soon according to the executives of FindWork.
How to register to FindWork
After downloading the app, you can register using your Facebook. Or better yet, go through the standard process — input your real name, birthday, educational background, experiences, and language you speak.
After the quick registration, which will take you no less than five (5) minutes, you can now start the job hunting.
You can apply to several positions offered by the app. The app will do the matching.
Successful matching happens within five days.
