With Smart’s simplified Mobile Number Portability (MNP) process, customers can switch without changing their mobile number and experience the power of the Philippines’ Fastest and Best mobile network.
1. Get your 9-digit Unique Subscriber Code (USC) from your current network provider
The USC is valid for 15 days and serves as confirmation that your account is free of unpaid fees and balances.
2. Get a Smart 5G-ready MNP SIM and apply online
If you are switching to a Smart Prepaid or TNT account, you can get your 5G-ready MNP SIM by going to any Smart Store nationwide or ordering it online and having it delivered to your doorstep.
If you are switching to a TNT account, you can also get your MNP SIM by switching to a Smart Prepaid account.
If, on the other hand, you are porting your number into a Smart Postpaid account, you can get your hands on an MNP SIM card that is compatible with 5G by scheduling an appointment at the Smart Store of your choice.
3. Activate your Smart 5G-ready SIM
When you have obtained your Smart 5G-ready MNP SIM card and finished filling out your MNP application, you will be able to activate it by dialing *123# and following the steps that appear on the screen.
After the activation has been completed successfully, you will be sent a notification via text.
