HP outs Slate21 plus two Slate droids

HP has added new line of business to its already huge portfolio of both enterprise and consumer product lines. In an intimate press briefing today, HP introduced  three Android devices  – Slate 7, SlateBook10 X2 and Slate 21.

While HP has been in partnership with Microsoft for its dekstop and laptop business, the giant PC company has started adding Google as their partner for the new consumer devices. The Slate series are all Android devices.

HP Slate21 is a 21-inch touchscreen Android device positioned to match the existing AIO PCs (All-in-One) in the market today. It is powered by a Tegra 4 quad-core 1.9Ghz processor, 8G of internal memory, 3 USB 2.0 ports, SD card reader, Jellybean 4.2 OS, DTS Sound+ Enhancement. Can recline up to 70-degrees for optimal gaming experience. This 21.5-inch IPS LCD screen has a full HD viewing angle with 10,000:1 dynamic contrast. One front-facing VGA camera with wired keyboard and mouse that comes as a bundle.

HP Slate21 is coming in the store shelf in late August or early September 2013 with an official SRP of P19,990.

For the entry level devices, HP Slate 7 is a 7-inch tablet powered by 1.66Ghz dual core ARMM processor, Beats audio is embedded here, front and rear camera – 3MP and VGA, metallic finish for both red and silver models. Available in stores now for only P7,990.

SlateBoook10x2 is for the people that needs a tablet and a laptop altogether. The 10-inch HD touchscreen, with detachable battery-powered keyboard that gets you a total of 13.5 hours of total computing experience. It is powered by Tegra 4 processor, 16G internal storage, 2G of RAM, and Android 4.2 JB OS.

HP SlateBook10x2 is priced at P25,990.

All of the Slate series Android devices by HP are pre-installed with HP software like ePrint and with KingSoft app. With HP Slate series joining the Android market, HP is now moving to a multi-platform device. SlateBook10x2 and Slate21 are the recent addition of the Tegra-powered processor that hits the PH market.
