Lenovo affordable thin and light Ideapads were launch Wednesday in Makati City. Ideapad S300 and Ideapad S400. Specs are very similar to both models the only difference is the size and the pricing.
S300 is the 13-inch model which will be available for only P21,995 and S400 is the 14-inch model at P24,995.
Both models of the Ideapad that will be available in the Phillppines will have the 3rd generation Intel Core i3 processors, 4G RAM, 500G HDD, up to 5 hours battery life, features AccuType keyboard with individual rounded keys that provides a platform for comfy and accurate typing.
Correction: S300 will be powered by Intel Pentium only, not Core i3 processor.
It has a special feature recovery key called OneKey Rescue System that when pressed launches an app that lets you back-up and restore files. You can press and activate it even your laptop is off.

Both S300 and S400 has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectors and a 2-in-1 card reader, integrated Bluetooth and Wi-fi. It has HDMI output and a 3MP web camera plus a stereo speakers. AMD Radeon 7450 Graphics will be integrated in both models and will include Windows 7 Home Premium. Only 21.9mm thick and weighs only 1.8kg which makes it very comfortable and portable.

For the price stated above, both Ideapad will be shipped without optical drives.
Again, Lenovo Ideapad S300 SRP is P21,995 and Lenovo Ideapad S400 is P24,995.
