Over the week-end before we watched the much-awaited Bourne Legacy, courtesy of Nuffnang Philippines, which by the way has a new look! The new Nuffnang webpage looks better! And, oh thanks for the movie treat!
Our DSLR went to work again for a product shoot – we unboxed the droid from Motorola, the Motorola Razr Maxx.
Now, you may ask immediately, why is the sample photo above is a DSLR, not the Razr Maxx? Hang on there baby, what you see is only the tip of the iceberg. That is how your next smartphone can take a picture, given a good lighting setup. Opps! Not a lighting setup, but a good lighting condition.
On to the unboxing
Inside that quality packed box is the droid itself and couple of accessories that comes with it. The AC charger designed for the PH use, the USB data cable which can be used likewise as charger via your laptop, a headset, and couple of hard copies of reading materials.
Here are the items inside the box.
The Razr Maxx is not your regular android phone, the design is of high quality. Oh, I mean the back cover is made of Dupont Kevlar fiber, you can use this are your bullet proof! Kidding.
With the Kevlar material, you will not see fingerprints and scratches on it. Let us tell you this early that the battery is not removable.
On top of it are the mini-USB ports for charging, micro-HDMI port for connecting it to a larger display, and the 3.5mm audio port, the right side is the power button and below it is the volume rocker.
Here’s another angle.
On the left side of the phone you will find a non-traditional panel with two slots inside – it houses your microSIM and your microSD port. Opening it does not require long fingernails. 🙂
Here’s how it looks.
The rear camera which can take 1080p video is a 8MP with LED flash, it takes really good picture with a sufficient lighting condition.
Here are some more photos taken by the Motorola Razr Maxx. Note that we use one continuous light only with white background only.

A close up shot is like this.

The unboxing ends there. The Razr Maxx was reviewed by Yugatech already, here’s the link.
