Overview
The realme Buds Air 2 is elevated from a dull pair of earphones by the inclusion of an active noise-canceling feature on this low-cost realme AiOT device. With an official SRP of just P3,990, the realme Buds Air 2 is now available in the Philippines. You can already purchase it either on Shopee or
The yellow branding on the packaging adds to the appeal; not only the package, but the cool little USB Type-C, which is also yellow, matches the glossy color of the charging case.
Design
As usual, the retail packaging is flawless. The brand’s standard procedure is to produce a product that is well-packaged and made of high-quality materials.
Thanks to the medium-sized silicon tip that suits my ears comfortably. The charging case and earbuds are both made of glossy materials, making them very easy to slip into your hands.
The glossy plastic charging case isn’t one of the best in the market today with the USB-Type port located at the bottom and a dedicated pairing key on the side. Glossy type plastic material is prone to scratches and smudges.
Audio/Performance
It’s worth noting that the realme Buds Air 2 supports Bluetooth 5.2, and they’ve always paired with my phone and does it job of automatically pausing playback whenever I remove it from my ears.
The spotlight is focused on the good noise cancellation feature of the earbuds, which is something new to a budget TWS like this. The ANC is a great deal for the price as well.
The volume controls and lack of a wireless charging feature are the only things I miss, but none of these features is a deal-breaker for me.
In terms of battery life, it has been improved and now provides up to 5 hours of battery life on a single charge. But wait, the 5-hour battery life is when the important feature, which is the ANC, is turned off.
Conclusion
If you are shopping for a noise-canceling TWS, the realme Buds Air 2 should be on your top consideration. For its affordable price tag of P3,990 you’ll have a blast.
