Sky enhanced Super Speed Plans launched

SKY Fiber today unveiled its upgraded Super Speed Plans, which provide an affordable range of fiber-fast and seamless speeds targeted at Filipinos’ daily internet demands, with speeds up to 200 Mbps.

These new ideas, according to Alan Supnet, SKY’s head of Consumer Broadband, seek to find the “sweet spot” for Filipino customers in terms of speed and pricing.

“In these challenging times, it is always a struggle to find the right home internet service provider that understands your basic needs as a customer. The issue stems from the difficult balancing act between product and price.”

Subscribers will no longer have to pick between costly high-speed plans and unreliable low-cost plans since SKY Fiber Super Speed Plans may meet their internet requirements.

SKY Fiber has introduced higher speeds of up to 50Mbps (P1,699/month), 100Mbps (P2,299/month), and 150Mbps (P2,799/month), which are suitable for a family of three or four taking online classes, working from home, or streaming entertainment.

With speeds of up to 80Mbps (P2,499/month) and 150Mbps (P2,999/month) and more channels, their Unli Broadband + HD Cable TV Plans have improved. These come with the SKY Evo digibox, which gives customers unlimited access to SKYcable channels as well as streaming applications like HBO GO, iWantTFC, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Spotify.

In addition to these additional services, SKY Fiber has increased the speeds of some plans by up to 50% beyond the advertised internet speed for free until April 30. Those on Plan 50Mbps, for example, can get up to 75Mbps of internet speed at no extra charge until the end of April.

All SKY Fiber Super Speed Plans include free WiFi Mesh devices to improve WiFi coverage and provide better value for money. The number of WiFi Mesh units offered in each package varies.

“A patchy or unsatisfactory connection is not necessarily caused by inadequate speed, but by a lack of excellent signal,” said Joevel Rivera, SKY’s head of Research and Product Development. Due to the fact that houses are designed differently and vary in size, the modem may not always spread the signal adequately across the home. SKY Fiber WiFi Mesh, on the other hand, allows sections or rooms with weak signals to connect to the internet, effectively eliminating dead zones in the home. “

SKY Fiber retains its most economical plan with up to 20Mbps (P999/month) and fastest speed plan with up to 200Mbps (P3,499/month) in addition to the new Super Speed choices. For those on a tighter budget, they have released the 30Mbps Unli Broadband Plan (P1,299/month) and the 40Mbps Unli Broadband + HD Cable TV Plan (P1,699/month) as basic bundles.

SKY Fiber is available for residents in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Baguio, Cebu, Dumaguete, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao, GenSan, and Zamboanga.

Promotion is ongoing that includes FREE installation until April 30, 2022.
