Smart has launched a new postpaid plan for the LG G2 mini with LTE; an exclusive version of G2 mini that goes with Smart’s HD Voice feature.
LG G2 mini LTE will be offered under Smart All-in Plan 1200 that includes unlimited LTE connectivity, and P205 consumable which can be used for voice calls or SMS. Under Plan 1200, subscriber will have to pay a cash out of P2,000 only.

LG G2 Mini has the same features as the G2, but has a stripped down specs under the hood. You get 1G of RAM, 4G of storage, a quad-core processor, 8MP camera, 2,440 mAh battery and Android 4.3 Kitkat OS.
According to Smart, in Q1 of 2014 alone, Smart and Sun Cellular observed that the ownership of smartphone has jumped to 18% of it total subscriber base, which is up from 10% at the beginning of 2013. The increased number of smarpthone ownership was driven by continuous introduction of the latest high-end and min-range LTE smarpthones in the market.
Smart HD Voice debuts with LG G2 Mini
Smart also announced alongside with the launch of LG G2 Mini LTE the new lineup of HD Voice. Subscribers can now experience higher quality, crisp voice calls with high-definition. This means a higher quality and better call experience on HD-voice capable devices will be enjoyed by Smart subscribers.
Smart HD Voice has been rolled out already to key cities, and not all smarpthones has that feature. Currently LG G2 Mini and Samsung Galaxy S5 will be able to enjoy this new technology from Smart.
Smart mentioned that this technology has been in place in their infrastructure since 2012, they just waited for the right handset to to be available in the market. This feature is enjoyed by Smart subscribers at no additional cost.



The LG G2 Mini is a decent smartphone, but it may have arrived a bit too late to really make the same sort of impact as the S4 Mini or One Mini.
