The upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus will be announced on December 7, alongside with the smaller Redmi 5. However, ahead of its official announcement, some of the confirmed specs including the press render have been spotted on the listings at TENAA.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, the Redmi 5 Plus is expected to pack the 18:9 aspect ratio screen with 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, which equates to 402 ppi. It will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with Adreno 506 GPU. There will be two storage to opt, 32GB with 3GB RAM and 64GB with 4GB RAM. It can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.


Camera-wise, the Redmi 5 Plus will features a single 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It will run on Android 7.1.2 “Nougat” with the company’s proprietary MIUI 9.0. It is expected to be price at $200 for the 32GB variant and $230 on the bigger 64GB model.
